Which I am overly defensive about. /);^;(\ This has been in my drafts for MONTHS and I’m really nervous about posting it.

Hiyoko: Gryffindor. Usually MCs are multi-interpretable but I think Hiyoko’s constant bravado and recklessness shoves her way into Gryffindor.

Ryouta: HUFFLEPUFF TO THE EXTREME. Hardworking, tenacious as fuck, loyal and loving to a fault and almost to yandere-ism…need I say more? He’s basically an embodiment of every Hufflepuff trait in its positive, healthy light, in contrast to somebirdie else later on. Who knows for a secondary. Too Hufflepuff for a secondary, ahaha. He could secondarily fit anywhere.

Sakuya: Definite Slytherin. I don’t even think he has a secondary house. Slytherdor maybe. Ambitious and underhanded and very loyal to his small group of carefully chosen people. Also classy and snobby which isn’t a requirement but always fits.

Nageki: Ravenclaw ofc, but certainly with a close secondary of Gryffindor (since he does have a habit of being pretty reckless and he’s pretty much the poster bird for martyrdom - I love the thought of Ravendor Nageki) or Hufflepuff. But he’s snarky and smart and interested in a lot and a little bit standoffish, linking with Ravenclaw’s ‘distant’ feeling.

Yuuya: ULTIMATE GRYFFINDOR. Suave, chivalrous, brave and super reckless. He defines Gryffindor to me. He’s got the hero type down pat. I literally can’t even say more on this because he practically embodies the house. Gryfferin as far as secondaries go (look at all these Slytherin secondaries) because I wrote this originally months ago and I must’ve forgotten that Yuuya is a LIAR BROTHER and manipulative-cunning as heckie so yeah Gryfferin whooo.

Anghel: Anghel is so hard for me to sort but also Gryffindor on account of, again, recklessness and…constant battle-readiness, I guess. He’s shakier to be defnite on than the other Gryffs. But yeah, reckless and impulsive and just generally a complete go-getter with honour that TRANSCENDS LIFETIMES. Wow.

Hitori!Nanaki: HUFFLEPUFF GONE WRONG. I’m sorry but I am SO defensive over my fictional ‘puffs, and Hitori is the best example I’ve seen of a Hufflepuff gone wrong. He began caring for his siblings and loving their company and just being all family! Hard work! Caring! Love and devotion and PROTECTING PEOPLE! That’s so huge with him. Don’t get me started on his determination. Jesus Christ he has so much of it. And how damn hardworking he is, explicitly shown when he’s just caring for Nageki by himself. But then his loyalty turns on him, to focus just on Nageki and against everyone else. His natural tenacity is warped into fuelling his vengeance, rising into a position where he can focus on avenging Nageki. His love and devotion to others is just all concentrated on one target so intensely he disregards others without much pause. He also has such a terrifying level of patience, as evidenced by holding out on Shuu for as long as he did. I could write so much about this, holy crap. Just. Such a Hufflepuff even to the end. He really brings out the best and worst in them and it’s amazing. I wanna claim Slytherin for his secondary (that may just be because I relate to Hitori a lot and I’m Hufflerin myself) but he’s incredibly cunning and manipulative IN ORDER to fuel his devotion, tenacity, and loyalty towards Nageki. That’s pretty fucking Hufflerin to me.

Shuu: RAVENCLAW GONE WRONG. This is another one I will staunchly defend. Shuu literally cannot be anything else. He even outright states his only real passion is pure knowledge - not ambition, or any position of fame. He doesn’t care about that. Just knowledge. His psychopathy obviously makes it difficult to be fair, but he has to be ‘claw just based on that. Plus he’s got the witty snark down perfectly, like Nageki. They’re actually quite similar in many aspects. I mean, yeah, he’s SO SO manipulative and that could give him a Slytherin secondary, but he’s definitely a Ravenclaw to me.

Tohri: Too ambitious and cunning not to be a Slytherin. Also the same reasons as Sakuya. Though Tohri is just less good at it overall, ahaha.

Not as indepth, but I’m tentatively pegging Ryuuji as a Ravenclaw (too flaky to be a Hufflepuff), Okosan as a Gryffindor (PUDDING ADVENTURES), and Kazuaki!Nanaki as a Hufflepuff, though he confuses me the most. He isn’t all that hardworking, but he is patient and he is loving - so much so it becomes clinginess. I’m actually pretty stumped for Kazuaki. Maybe he’s a mugglebird, poor thing.

So ah yeah house headcanons that I’m unreasonably defensive over. ;;
